More than an event. We are a creative community.
The Great Exhibition of Boscombe was born in 2013, to give local, young and emerging artists a platform from which to show case their talents, highlighting our heritage, galleries, creative spaces, pop ups, performance and live art throughout Boscombe.
My how we have grown since then.
Our ever expanding network of local industry experts includes artists, designers, IT specialists, marketeers, performers, entrepreneurs, community leaders and mentors, who form an energetic team of passionate and enthusiastic role models for our next creative generation.
The event engages the whole community, supports local business and economy and creates lasting collaborations and memories. All year round we support the local arts scene, deliver the Arts Award and offer pop up and a host of opportunities.
This Year - we are working hard being the scenes on funding for this years events, to work with even more passionate like minded people in even more places! Watch this space and keep an eye on our facebook page for more info

From October 2015 to January 2016 we have explored, researched, listened and increased the rich history archive of the seaside market town of Boscombe, Bournemouth, Dorset.
We have had pop up exhibitions, discussions, stories and workshops, and adding oral histories to our archive with the Dorset History Centre and Bournemouth Libraries.
This project and legacy will long continue! If you have any additions for the Boscombe Archive, contact us to help build this at firstname.lastname@example.org.
